OMG! It feels like yesterday, you were those cute little grade 5's who I had the pleasure of teaching and meeting. I have enjoyed watching you all grow and learn and look extremely forward in having a hand at making your last year at Windham, a fantastic one!!!! This blog will serve the purpose of our class site as well as the links to your own personal blogs thanks to our newest technology access; Google apps for Education!!!!
That means that each one of you will have your own gmail address and have access to the various google apps including: Docs, Presentations, Blogger, Sites, Drive etc. Once I get in all the technology permission forms from your parents, you will be given your login information! I am soo excited to show you how to use it all and I am sure you will be able to teach me a few things as well! This also means that all of your work on the computer will be done with google docs and therefore you can access it from anywhere without losing your information. This also means that you will not need to bring usb keys with you anymore!
If you do have your own device, I will encourage you to bring it in as we will be using technology on a daily basis. Of course, you will need your parents permission first!
