March Break homework

Hi Everyone,

I hope you had a fantastic March Break and are ready to work hard for the next couple of months before you graduate!

I've received some emails asking what the homework was over the break so I thought I'd address it now.  There was nothing to do for English unless you are away next week and so you know what you need to do.

Math: You will be doing the exact same project with the cell phones this coming week.  The difference is that you will need to bring data for 3 similar cellphone plans posted by any company operating in Ontario. It would be most beneficial if you research plans that you use/might want to use yourself so that you can compare which company has the best bang for the buck!

For Example: If Rogers has a plan for 400 minutes for $40/month, look at the other companies and try to find a similar plan with them.  Maybe Bell might have 450 minutes for $50 etc.  Don't forget to find out how much each additional minute is because you will need that for your graph.  

Try to research this weekend so that you have an idea of where to start on Monday during class.  This project will solely be done in class.  I will collect your work at the end of each period. If you need help completing it, I will be doing conferences during class time.
